First Day of School !!!

 

 

Today was the first day of school. James is in the 6th Grade and Julia is in the 3rd Grade. It was sad for me that they went back to school, I love having them home. I am truly blessed and grateful to have them.

Tutorial on unmounting Stamps

 

Click on the picture to make it bigger.This is what i did when I unmounted my stamps. I have about 100 stamp sets and I ran out of cd cases so I have to wait until they are shipped to me. Anyway, this is the process, take the red rubber off the grey mounting and put on the tack it all with a foam brush for even application, after it dries clear, stick them to you hand/arms it helps with the tackiness, then stamp them out on a sheet of paper then insert them to the cd cases. Please feel free to ask any questions.

This is the packaging for the tag I made for the tag swap that Kathy is hosting from Paper Phenomenon. I also made Kathy this composition book for being a great host =)

Travel Paperbag Album Part 1

 

 

 

 

This my first paperbag album !! It was fun to make,and there is so much to it. Inside each pocket of the paperbag is a mat that is 5 1/2 by 7 to put pictures and momento's on. It is also a gate fold so that I can put a picture on the gate as well. The camera, wonderwheel, canada tag, compass,memories tag,and luggage open up for journaling as well. I am sure I will be making more of these =) I would like to thank Kathy from Paper Phenomenon for the inspiration and tips on this album.

Swap Tag

 

 

 

This is the tag I created for a swap that Kathy from Paper Phenomenon is hosting. The theme is Summer Time, so I chose to go with a picnic theme. My husband was the first and only person to take me on a picnic when we first started dating. Of course I used my cricut for this tag =)

Sweet Dreams Layout

 

 

 

 

I used create a critter to cut out "sweet dreams" and new arrival for the bassinet. The paper is dcwv from the spring stack. I used scallop circle punches from stampin up to make the flowers.

I used the Amy Chomas sharpie holder to write out the title. I also spritz some tattered angels on the title frame. I used winter woodland for the church and the cross is from the easter cartridge. Gotta love that Cricut =)
