Tea For 2 Layout

This is a layout I made using the DCWV Spring Stack. I used my Cricut to cut out the Tea for 2 title from the Nursery Rhyme cartridge. I added flowers to the birdhouses and a little birdcage trinket to the journal tag.  I also punched the side of the photo mat with a Martha Stewart Punch.

Laptop Vinyl

I ordered this adorable cover for my Macbook Pro. I got it in the same color as  my scrap room (tiffany blue) and I decided to dress it up a little bit. So I used my Cricut Imagine and some vinyl and cut out my blog name, hearts and corner swirls. I think it's a cute way to display my blog, whenever I take my Macbook with me. At The Zoo Layout...

This is a layout I made of my kids at the Zoo, holding a Falcon. The paper I used is DCWV Green stack and I also used a tear edge ruler to get the jagged edging on the paper. I used a EK success punch for the trees. The leaves are some chipboard pieces that I had and the flower are Maya Road. The letters are Jillibean Soup in Corrugated Kraft and I destressed them using my Tim Holtz inks. I also used some twine to hold the tag. Thanks for stopping by :)

RAK for my Friend

On This project I used a picture frame box that I got at Treasure Nest. I painted it jade green and distress it on the edges with white ink, I also added TH Hinges, some Wild Orchid Craft flowers and a Recollections Butterfly. I used the Pink Paislee "Butterfly Garden" paper line for the little mini, that fits inside the box.  I cut that all out with my Vagabond and TH Baroque Die. I also added some little wooden feet to elevate it. On the  Tag, I used a dress form chip board piece and added some twine in the center to create a waist line and a flower from WOC, and some lace knotted in the tag holder.

Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition

I teach my kids to shoot for the moon and even if they miss, they will land among the stars. So I took my and own and some other's advice and I shot for the moon, even though I am insecure about my work. I have always loved Graphic 45's paper and other elements to their lines, so much so that I always thought they were to good to use, does that make sense? Kind of like saving a "special" outfit for that "special" occasion, and then I thought to myself, LIFE is a "special" occasion and I started thinking of all the wonderful layouts, mini albums, and projects  I could create with the most beautiful paper lines out there, that's what makes Graphic 45 "special" to me. These are 6 projects that I have created in the past and I am submitting them for the Graphic 45 design team audition. It would be my ultimate dream come true, to be a part of the Graphic 45 team. Wish me luck!!!
