ATC Drawer...

This is the February kit from the button farm, it was fast, fun and easy to make. I am trying to get my kits done,I have so many of them and I know I got them because I love to make them. I didn't add to pictures to this yet but I do plan on it. Thanks for stopping by :)

RAK for my Friend

On This project I used a picture frame box that I got at Treasure Nest. I painted it jade green and distress it on the edges with white ink, I also added TH Hinges, some Wild Orchid Craft flowers and a Recollections Butterfly. I used the Pink Paislee "Butterfly Garden" paper line for the little mini, that fits inside the box.  I cut that all out with my Vagabond and TH Baroque Die. I also added some little wooden feet to elevate it. On the  Tag, I used a dress form chip board piece and added some twine in the center to create a waist line and a flower from WOC, and some lace knotted in the tag holder.

Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition

I teach my kids to shoot for the moon and even if they miss, they will land among the stars. So I took my and own and some other's advice and I shot for the moon, even though I am insecure about my work. I have always loved Graphic 45's paper and other elements to their lines, so much so that I always thought they were to good to use, does that make sense? Kind of like saving a "special" outfit for that "special" occasion, and then I thought to myself, LIFE is a "special" occasion and I started thinking of all the wonderful layouts, mini albums, and projects  I could create with the most beautiful paper lines out there, that's what makes Graphic 45 "special" to me. These are 6 projects that I have created in the past and I am submitting them for the Graphic 45 design team audition. It would be my ultimate dream come true, to be a part of the Graphic 45 team. Wish me luck!!!

NEW SCRAPROOM!! FINALLY!!

This a layout I made using the Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue paper line  of my kids enjoying the beautiful beach in Puerto Rico. I used some of the chipboard elements that are also part of the paper line. I also used some netting and some clam shells for some added beach effects. Thanks for stopping by :)

Update on my new scraproom....

So this is the current state of my new Scraproom. All of the cabinets are from Ikea and these are from the Varde collection. I am hoping to add 2 more pieces to my current collection. I want to round the corner on the left with another 12 drawer piece and get a 4 drawer piece for my Island/ Workstation. As you can see I have more painting to do, I didn't realize how big the cabinets were even though we laid it all out, but the bigger the better LOL. I also will be sewing a curtain for the window, I picked out a beautiful Damask fabric. Thanks for stopping by :)

Desktop Organizer

I got a little mojo in between putting cabinets together for my new scraproom and made this Organizer to hold my bills. I used the Graphic 45 Communique paper and also their metal flowers. The knob and feet are from Tim Holtz. The flowers are Wild Orchid crafts and I added some feathers and gold leaves for some pizzaz. Thanks for stopping by!!

Scraproom Color

In the midst of painting my new Scrapbooking Area. The color is called Seawave, I think it's a very creative color, I went with this color because it's light and airy or wavy, lol, and being that I'm in the basement I needed that. Tell me what you think?

Quick update

Just a quick update, I have been cleaning and organizing and am in the midst of fixing and painting my new Scraproom which will be in the bigger area of my basement. Besides healing from my health issues that I have had in the month of December and also losing my mojo, I am hoping the new room will be a pick me up. I will keep you all posted with pictures soon.
